Post-release of the exhibition-fair of folk craftsmen, artists and designers of Russia "RusArtStyle"
"Fashion for traditions!" was the motto of the IV Exhibition-Fair of Folk Craftsmen, Artists and Designers of Russia "RusArtStyle" from 12 to 15 May. The exhibition "RusArtStyle" was held as part of the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia, announced by the President of the country V.V. Putin. It became the embodiment of the idea of a creative economy, which is very relevant for our country today, and was an important milestone in the search for the "cultural code" of modern Russia. The project showed Muscovites and guests of the capital that the multinational people of Russia are united, and the rich cultural heritage successfully merges into new trends, fashions, everyday life and forms a modern Russian style. The RusArtStyle event was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow, and the Association of Organizations of Folk Arts and Crafts, Artisans and Artists "Heritage and Traditions". The exhibition, first of all, is aimed at supporting the creativity of young masters, designers and contributes to the preservation of the continuity of artistic mastery of generations, the transfer of skills and secrets of technologies to young people. More than 150 enterprises of folk arts and crafts, folk craftsmen, masters of arts and crafts, craftsmen and designers, as well as non-profit partnerships, associations, chambers of crafts from 20 regions of Russia took part in the exhibition and fair "RusArtStyle". Participants presented their best works in the following areas: author's ceramics and porcelain; jewelry, enamel art; artistic processing of glass, metal, stone; wood and bone carving and painting; lace weaving and embroidery, painting, artistic painting on fabric, interior and décor items; artistic processing of leather and fur; Designer, ethnic clothing and accessories. Craftsmen from the republics of Chuvashia and Udmurtia, Samara and Omsk regions presented their unique products with a national flavor at collective expositions. Of particular interest to the visitors of the exhibition was the exposition of a traditional folk toy: Merino and Semyonov nesting dolls, dedicated to such a landmark event this year in Russia as the 100th anniversary of the Nizhny Novgorod nesting doll. Guests of the exhibition were able to plunge into the history of the birth of matryoshka dolls in our country, trace its creative transformation through the years, see both museum and modern exhibits. An important aspect of the exhibition was creative meetings, seminars and presentations from eminent masters and designers, who shared their experience, talked about their novelties and modern trends in creativity. For the youngest spectators, the organizers have prepared daily, diverse and exciting master classes in various areas of creativity. And an unusual photo zone in the style of Russian boyar chambers was able to take the guests of the exhibition to the ancient Russian era. Visitors also had a lottery with handmade prizes from the companies participating in the project. The event, which was attended by over 9,000 Muscovites and guests of the capital, was covered by more than 50 media outlets, including the TV channels Rossiya-24, OTR, Usadba, Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, Vechernyaya Moskva and Metro newspapers, MediaFort, Fair of Masters, Promyslov.rf and many others.
